Clothing label done in collaboration with the French clothing company Sixpack France. I originally came up with the name "Dead Hommes" and thought it could be fun to do a few T shirts based on the name. We both liked the name and what we saw and it morphed into a full cut and sew line for a few seasons. Good Times.

Art direction and design for Chicago based restaurant Lonesome Rose. This restaurant is part of the Land and Sea Dept. which i am also a partner in.

Tour poster for Kid Cudi / Hollywood Holt tour sponsored by Chocolate Industries.

Xerox zine published by Nieves (edition of 100). Nieves is an independent publishing house based in Zurich, Switzerland.

Wall painting at the Ace Hotel New York in suite 911. This series of drawings done while staying at the hotel during the project was later framed and also hung in suite 911.

Design and illustration for Tommy Guerrero Composer Series CD produced by Downtown Music Service. The drawings are based on music instruments and other items found in Tommy’s studio. The project also included the design of a limited edition skateboard.

Screen printed tote bag for Whole Foods market (based on grapes!). All proceeds from the sale of the bag were donated to 826CHI (a non profit writing and turtoring center in Chicago).

Limited edition of the Chuck Taylor Hi sneaker designed as part of the (Product) RED campaign. This sneaker, along with the Parra x Converse Chuck Taylor and the Giovanni Estevez x Converse Chuck Taylor, made up the Converse “Pain the Town” Series.

2012

Illustrations based on the life of LeBron James from his start in Akron to today. The illustrations served as the first and last spreads of the Nike publication released in conjunction with the basketball superstar’s ninth signature shoe and 2011 Holiday collection of NSW apparel.

Nestea “The Start of Something Different” design that was used on billboards globally in 16 markets, including Greece, Russia, South and Central America, China and other Asian markets.

Art direction and design (as well as being one of the owners and partners) for Chicago based Michelin Star rated restaurant Longman & Eagle.

Design duties include everything from logo, T shirts, menus, L&E Vol 01 - 04 (Newsprint zines designed with photographers JJ Sullin, Paul Octavious, Andrew Paynter and Jared Eberhardt), Letterpress posters (printed at Tribune Showprint in Indiana) and everything in between.

We worked closely with author Joe Meno on the art direction of his book Office Girl published by Akashic Books. This included hand drawn type for the cover as well as illustrations based on the story that were placed throughout the book.  A 2 color section was added that was meant to look like a xerox zine the characters in the book made.

Letterpress print produced at Tribune Showprint in Idaville, Indiana based on the objects being offered for sale at the Maxwell Street Market.

2006

One day installation on a CTA train car. The train ran for 24 hours with a different artist doing an installation in each car.

2014

Design and illustration for the Chicago launch of the Volkswagen Golf. The art was used on billboards and posters around Chicago.

The series also featured artists in other cities including Andrew Bannecker, Jeff Soto, JeremyVille and Jeremy Fish. Templates for papercraft Golf’s that people could build with the artists designs were also released online.

Collaborative project with the Hong Kong chapter of SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) including Yoav Horesh, Emily Detrick, Nikki Li, Abra Anderson, Logan Zawacki and Loretta Lee. The collaboraters were asked to supply me with photos inspired by their time in Hong Kong and i used those as the starting point for a series of large scale collages. I also did a series of collaborations with Suitman using his portraits as the starting point for the collages.
