VW Golf “Ready Set Golf” Artist Series

Design and illustration for the Chicago launch of the all-new Volkswagen Golf. We were tasked with filling in the iconic shape of the VW Golf with icons and artifacts from past and present Chicago. We drew up everything from hot dogs to the ‘L’ train to house music to skateboarding. The art was used on billboards and posters around Chicago.



The series also featured artists in other cities including Andrew Bannecker, Jeff Soto, JeremyVille and Jeremy Fish. Templates for papercraft Golf’s that people could build with the artists designs and blank templates so that they could design their own were also released online.
